Spring Fever.

A cascade of fire polished facetted glass beads in shades of green. This is a collar shaped necklace made from silver satin rattail cord knotted twice at both sides of the dangles. The dangles are suspended from the satin cord on graduated lengths of satin silver coloured wire, on each wire is threaded a collection of different sizes and shades of green facetted glass beads, the central dangle ending in a bright silver metal flower shape. The necklace is closed with silver plated fixings. Length: end to end 42 cms. (16.5 inches)

Spring greens in facetted glass beads are hung from a silvery coloured flower shape. The earrings are finished with silver plated ear wires.

Sand Storm Necklace

I made a collar shape in crocheted natural hemp string and then applied Bettle nut banana slices and smoke coloured glass seed beads along the lower edge on dangles. The center of the collar I decorated with nut beads, smoke coloured glass beads and tiny wood beads. I added more wood beads to the upper edge of the collar. I completed the necklace with a double row of antique copper chain and fastened it with an antique copper clasp.

Winnie is a unique one off creation hand-made my me! She was born from a character in my paintings, and loves nothing more than to sit up pretty on a bookshelf, side board or mantle piece and look over and inspire those around her.

Made from vintage fabric (an old stripe fabric which was once a shirt dress made by my mam in the 70's) she is approx. 34-cm tall, stuffed with polyester stuffing has one printed eye and her other details are drawn with stitch. Two pink sequins make her blush, and her hat is decorated with a vintage white button. :-)
