Beaded Hemp Bracelet, Wood Bone, Crochet Knotted Twine, Brown Black Gray Natural

String Bling Bracelet.

I made the backbone of this bracelet in crocheted hemp twine. From this I suspended an assortment of ivory and brown bone beads, some incised with a pattern some tea dyed batik pattern.I also added natural and redwood wooden beads, again some incised with a pattern.All these end with a knot to keep the bead in place. I closed the bracelet with a antique copper toggle. The bracelet measures 20 cms. (7.75 inches).

Such fun to wear , looks wonderful worn with natural cotton or linen.

Sand Storm Necklace

I made a collar shape in crocheted natural hemp string and then applied Bettle nut banana slices and smoke coloured glass seed beads along the lower edge on dangles. The center of the collar I decorated with nut beads, smoke coloured glass beads and tiny wood beads. I added more wood beads to the upper edge of the collar. I completed the necklace with a double row of antique copper chain and fastened it with an antique copper clasp.
