Bracelet and Earrings for the Summer
Acid Stripes €45
Acid Stripes
Fresh colours, bold stripes. I teamed these yellow turquoise and lime acrylic beads with small wood beads in similar colours. I put sets of three beads onto silver plated wire and joined each set with a silver ring. I fastened the bracelet with a silver plated toggle and attached a chain ending in three wood beads to add an element of fun.
Length 22.5 cms. 9 inches
I used three striped acrylic beads and threaded each one onto a silver plated wire. I top and tailed each one with a wood bead picking out the colours of the stripes. I joined the three dangles together with silver rings and finished the earrings with silver plated ear wires.
Length from hook 4cms 1.50 inches
Great summery colours, turquoise, lime and sunny yellow stripes.

Wearable Art - New Design - complete and ready for sale!
Wearable Art Necklace and Earrings 'RUSTIC'
...At last they are finished...If you were following my blog about this set...there were several features I was uncertain about! The first was the basic necklace
The original design was too unbalanced
...so back to the drawing board..I redid some of it
I was much happier with that arrangement
The next problem was how to decorate it...I chose the leaves and added wooden beads and more finer wrapped wire
Now for some earrings to compliment the necklace
I couldn't decide so I made two pairs!
and
All these will be for Sale in My ETSY Shop soon

Wearable Art... Moroccan inspired Jewellery
Wearable Art
'Rissani' Necklace and Earrings
As my inspiration for this set I used a beautiful piece of polished rock from the Tahiri Fossil Museum, Rissani, Morocco.
I used silk yarn to wrap cotton jersey material to make the necklace and wrapped aluminum wire to make the tendrils and the earrings.
The earrings measure 5 cms. from hook. The hooks are silver plated, nickle free.
The necklace measures 51cms. end to end and is fastened with a silver plated hook and ring.

IMBOLC ....Celebrate the coming of Spring
In Ireland, January 31st. is the festival of Imbolc, which begins the
season of Spring.
This festival marks the releasing of winter’s grip on the
land.
The name Imbolc is derived from the lactating of the ewes
which begin lambing at the end of January.
The ancient peoples celebrated this festival as it was the first
dairy produce they had after a long dark winter.
Honoring of the goddess Brigit, daughter of the god Dagda,
fell on the first day of February, now also called St. Brigit's Day, after she
was adopted as a Christian saint.
Woven crosses are still made to celebrate this day.
